Illuminet is proud to announce the Products Division achieved ISO 9001 certification for the design, development, sale and delivery of consulting, training services and software for the second year running. ISO 9001 is an international standard that specifies requirements for an effective quality management system. It requires companies to evidence their ability to consistently and reliably provide products and services that meet their customer’s requirements.
The certification process required the division to be independently assessed by The British Standards Institution (BSI) against internationally recognised standards, demonstrating our commitment to quality and assurance. All the team’s processes were defined and documented shortly after the division’s creation (2019). This included quality management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment and the resolution of nonconformities through corrective action plans. BSI then completed a rigorous audit and evaluation process prior to certification being awarded.
By achieving ISO 9001 certification, the Products division are better able to anticipate the demands of our customers and demonstrate our ongoing commitment to providing quality of service, effective cost, and timely delivery. Part of that commitment includes constant development and improvement of our tools and processes to further enhance the products and services to our clients, supported by internal audits and future assessments by BSI to ensure service quality is maintained.
