NTT Data | Illuminet Case Study
As part of the NTT Data’s End Client’s $100 billion merger with another chemical manufacturer, Illuminet was engaged in partnership with NTT DATA to Lead all End User Computing activities to migrate in-scope users and enable the Spin (Separation) into three separate organisations. Illuminet formed the Global Solutions Team, to manage the migration, including Windows 10, Office 365, Cloud Computing, Managed Print Services & Applications. Illuminet worked both within NTT Data on the technology and on the End Client Business Change.
What did we do?
Across the three End Clients the Solutions Team:
- Managed the provisioning and go-live of Virtual Desktops for 66,000 users
- Migrated 8,181 users on 7,313 devices
- Introduced new service processes and solutions to migrate 1,748 remote users
- Reviewed, rationalised and progressed over 1,100 applications
- Migrated over 1,000 printers
- Identified and managed the creation of task sequences to add support for 12 new hardware models
All this, across:
- 136 people locations
- 64 sites
- 50 warehouses
- 47 countries
- 4 regions
