With over 80% of UK businesses vulnerable to avoidable security threats, the Cyber Essentials Framework has been designed as a strong security baseline to apply best practice and guard against cyber threats.
Certification allows Illuminet to demonstrate to both its clients and suppliers the company’s commitment to cyber security, breaking down security controls into 5 key areas:
- Secure IT configuration
- Boundary firewalls and Internet gateways
- Access control and administrative privilege management
- Patch management
- Malware protection
Our proactive approach to Cyber Security seeks to minimise and protect against the dangers posed by cyber threats on both our IT systems and data. With threats increasing, we are keen to build on this achievement by continuing to strengthen our controls in the weeks and months ahead.
